Jack Peh rockin @ West Coast Classic 2010. Really need to pace myself emceeing. 1 day event and already I'm exhausted. AP will be 4 straight days with longer hours and bigger crowds.

I'm wondering if all of this had any correlation to me drawing this on my textbook.

Something I Just Realised

I was watching the TV without my spectacles and wanted to go closer to the screen. Then I realised I'm already closer to the screen than both my grandparents. Without their spectacles.

Asia Pacific Yoyo Championships 2010

1 more week before the craziness! Come on down! 25th - 28th March at ION Orchard and catch some of the world's best yoyo players show off their mind blowing tricks!

While I believe all 4 days are going to be awesome, I recommend dropping by on Saturday and Sunday for the finals where the action really heats up. I'll be emceeing the event so come say hi! It's going to be great!

I once worked with F from Radical Forze for a showcase @ Butter Factory and while chatting before the show, he told us about how the locals don't give them much support when they perform/compete. Even though they're actually one of the better crews and Singapore's best.

I found it quite sad when they performed at City Alive to a lacklustre crowd. I just don't see how we expect our dancers/performers to get better when we can't even support them with applause. Because at the end of the day, we work at McDonald's for the money and bust a move for the love.

Ceriph Issue Zero

Ceriph is a local publication by local cool kids Winnie Goh, Hans Wong and friends that aims to give local writers and artists a platform from which to voice their musings. An independent publication fueled by their passion for writing and expression, they aim to publish every 3 months a collection of local short stories, poems, art, non-fiction, photography etc.

They're launching their Issue Zero at local cool kid bookstore Books Actually 86 Club Street on March 12 (Tomorrow!) at 7:30p.m. so come on down, have some Chai and Cake, grab a copy of the book, support your local writers and pretend you're a cool kid too! (Club St on Map)

Can I Get a Double McTwist 1260?

I don't know bout you but snowboarding phenom Shaun White's newest trick looks nothing like a cheap burger to me.

With his amazing repertoire of moves, Shaun recently took Snowboarding Gold @ Winter Olympics without doing this trick in his first run, probably to take the immense pressure off his shoulders. With the gold in the bag, he finally pulled this big trick out on his last run, just for the fans.

2 off axis backflips while spinning 3.5 rounds in the air. The rest of the world has a lotta catching up to do.
