I think Nike should get with Capcom and make some nice sneakers for Guy (@ 0:10-0:12). Something like these Dunk Hi Vandals but with white swoosh and black laces. Fiyah~

While everything looks awesome, I don't believe no one in Capcom realised how cheesy the typeface effects of the SUPER at the back look though. I can understand they want to bring back the old Super Street Fighter text effect but right now it looks like it's fighting for too much attention from the foreground. Not good. Toning it down or making it a little grungier would work a lot better :)

I think school and the yoyo shows, competitive practice and a semi-functional social life have started to take their toll on my body. Woke up today with no voice, and had to go out and work 4 shows anyway.

This is Ultimate Frisbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Initially I just wanted to try and see what this is about thinking Frisbee shouldn't be too "Fierce". When we got to the field though we found out that this is some very serious business.

Kind of like Rugby meets Netball with a Plastic Disc, Ultimate Frisbee puts 2 teams against each other and they try to catch the Frisbee in the opposing team's End Zone (much like rugby).

There's as much running, teamwork, skill and heart involved as any other sport I've done, but with a slight Hippie twist to it. There are always female players in the field making it a sport for both sexes, and players call their own fouls. No referees.

Talked to an old friend. I honestly don't know how he went from friend to old friend. At one point I think we just got caught up with leading our own lives and that became that.

It was amazing that considering we're both in unforgiving University courses, last night we were both free enough to engage in slightly intellectual discourse. I had a rare break from assignments and work, he had a study break.

We squeezed what was maybe 3 years worth of lost conversations into 3 hours. Egos, Flight of the Conchords, Academia, Why guys should chase girls and not the other way round, Carl Sagan and painting shoes.

I hope we get to talk more often.

Chocolate Research Facility

Local design superheroes Asylum opened this crazy Chocolate Boutique a while back and I finally got around to checking out the Wheelock Place joint.

They basically do chocolate with a bunch of totally zany flavours, some of which are rotated in and out of the fashion season.

The Lychee Martini from their Alchohol Series was great! Essentially Chocolate with Lychee Martini ganache (sexy) inside, I think I finished it REAL fast.

Immediately went back to get "Passionfruit with Dried Cranberry" and on their recommendation "Yuzu" (huh?) for Edwina and Audrey's Birthdays!

I Kinda Like This Place
